We stayed for just one day, but everything was just perfect! We loved the fantastic location, which was so close to the main museum, restaurants, Flumendosa Lake. the staff were friendly and really helpful, and the host was great too. 😊.

We enjoyed our stay in a spacious triple room with a stunning mountain view, and the friendly staff and attentive host made our experience even better.

We were in a hurry, so stayed here only for 1 night, yet everything was perfect. The atmosphere created was quiet. The breakfast was included and had plenty of meals.

The location was marvellous, the staff was lovely. Street food restaurant Sparky's Grill was located 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with an air conditioning, coffee/tea makers, and a work desk🙂

Omu Axiu boasts a fantastic location, just a short walk from Royal William Yard and only 10 minutes from the bus station. the rooms and bathrooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable, featuring a relaxing bathtub. Guests can enjoy delicious food in a peaceful atmosphere.

the traditional Sardinian food prepared by Monica and Samuela was exquisite and made with so much love. We were treated with such care and attentiveness throughout our stay. the museum of traditional Sardinian life and farming was a highlight, with a fascinating tour provided by Monica herself. the rooms, distributed throughout the village, were comfortable and tastefully decorated. the main museum and restaurant, set in a courtyard with a centuries-old olive tree, created a charming atmosphere for our multi-course dinner and delightful breakfast. Omu Axiu is a true gem for those who appreciate mountains and traditions.

Typical Sardinia dinner by the fireplace. Exceptional wild boar with red wine. Nice breakfast with ricotta, jams, and handmade cakes. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

Although the hotel was difficult to locate, the owner was kind enough to guide us through the entry. the rooms were well-maintained, clean and spacious with minimalistic decor. the owners were attentive and informative, giving multiple tours of the museum including an introduction drink. the meals were delectable, and the breakfast spread was hearty enough to fuel hours of exploration around the charming town.

The hotel's lack of security poses a concerning threat to the guests' safety, especially to solo travellers.

Located near the beautiful Nuraghe Arrubiu, this hotel offered a great opportunity to explore the area. the all-inclusive menu was amazing and the food was prepared fresh daily, including homemade jams which was a great touch. the staff were friendly and welcoming and ensured that we had a comfortable stay.

Although our room was clean, it was very cold during our Christmas stay and the heater did not do enough to keep us warm. the room was very bare without decor or personality.

During our Christmas stay, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-maintained the hotel was, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. The breakfast and dinner options were exceptional, with plenty of traditional dishes to choose from. we loved the location of the hotel, set in the heart of the countryside and surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. The access to nearby historical sites and natural reserves was also a highlight for us, providing plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities.

While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, some of the amenities were a bit outdated and could use some updating to modern standards. And although the location was charming, the lack of reliable public transportation made it difficult to explore the area without a car.

We arrived at Omu Axiu and had trouble finding the entrance, but luckily the owner came to pick us up and was very friendly. The room we were led to was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. We didn't mind that it didn't have a view because we wanted to explore the museum and the charming city. The dinner at the restaurant was fantastic, with delicious Sardinian specialties and attentive service. We had a comfortable night's sleep and enjoyed a great breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend this unique and welcoming accommodation.
